Purpose: Build oral language, phonological awareness, fluency, reinforce concepts of print, strengthen community.

Why: Provide physical breaks and an alternative context to develop language/concepts.
Purpose: Encourage self expression, refocus energy, connect language/concepts kinesthetically, build community.

Why: Maximize learning time by minimizing/utilizing transitions.
Purpose: Expedite transitions, helps students focus. Sets the mood/tone for the classroom
